In early Feb 2017, the Mayfield and Stouffer lab published a new study in Nature Ecology and Evolution about the role of higher-order interactions in modeling plant diversity. This study is a part of my PhD research at the University of Queensland. I will be building off this work, adding to the models to increase biological realism leading to models that can better predict diversity at multiple scales.
A few days after it was published UQ posted this news statement on their website describing the publication and featuring a short interview with my advisor along with a picture of yours truly mapping a plot in the field.
Take a gander at the UQ release and if interested, check out the paper!
